About Us

GOEL Biodiversi is the cluster promoted by GOEL - Cooperative Group and Community Project South, which transforms the extraordinary biodiversity and microclimatic diversification of Calabria into a competitive advantage for sustainable agricultural development.

Our approach

The project integrates three synergistic levels:

1. Applied scientific research
We collaborate with research centers and universities to study the properties of local plants, develop new natural formulations and innovate cultivation techniques.

2. Organic farms.
More than 30 member farms, certified organic and quality-oriented, operate in the different biotopes of Calabria, following GOEL Bio's Ethical and Anti-Contamination Protocol.

3. Extraction and processing laboratories
Advanced technologies for eco-sustainable extractions (supercritical CO2, dry extracts, micro-encapsulated) and organic production: essential oils, preserves, herbal teas and eco-bio cosmetics.

A sustainable model

GOEL Biodiverse demonstrates that biodiversity and economy can reinforce each other by creating:

- Quality and high value-added agricultural productions
- Development of patents and semi-finished products for local businesses
- Social inclusion and employment for disadvantaged people
- Revitalization of inland areas of Calabria as centers of innovation

GOEL Biodiversi is an inclusive alliance. We invite agricultural companies, researchers and operators in the sector to join us. The brands created will be donated to the territory, a symbol of shared development.
